scoring is 5,4,3,2,1 on single spot
The scoring is 5,4,3,2,1 on single spot regular face targets from the spot out. The scoring on 5 spot championship face is 5 for the white ring, and 4 points for the blue ring. X’s are recorded separately. All arrows must be scored and recorded by a non team member before touching or drawing any arrows from the target. Scoring is determined by the shaft as is. An arrow touching the line between two rings shall be scored in the ring of greater value. Witnessed bounce outs or arrows passing through the target will be re-shot. Hits on the wrong target will be scored as misses. When an arrow is dropped while the archer is in the act of shooting, another may be shot unless the dropped arrow is completely past the 10’ line in front of the shooting line. If an archer shoots more than 5 arrows in the end, only the 5 arrows of lower value will be scored. If an archer shoots fewer than 5 arrows in one end, the archer may shoot the remaining arrows if the omission is discovered before the end is officially completed. After the end is officially completed, any arrows fewer than 5 will be scored as misses. When shooting at a 5 spot target, if more than 1 arrow is shot into a single target during an end, only the arrow of lowest value will be scored In case of a tie in the standings at the end of the season, the team total of x’s will be used for tie breaking
